William Crosby; William may very well have been one of the first, if not the first settler in the Cornwall area after the Acadian expulsion. There is also speculation that the Hyde family was on the same ship that landed at Fort Amherst that late summer day in 1770.
William married Margaret Orr, and they eight children.
