D39link wireless router validating identity
This will allow you to pick your router from available wireless network again, and put in your encryption code.
I tried all the other stuff like disabling 802.11 settings under properties blah blah ..nothing worked.
However when i try connecting from computers those are wireless, im getting this error : Windows cannot find a certificate to logon to the network.
Right click on the network icon, select properties, then the tab for Authentication. If you have an antivirus with firewall, make sure to also deactivate windows firewall.
Then when all was lost I thought as "asdfsadf" did.

Since 've got my new dir-655 router, one PC is acting strange It's a Dell Latitude D430 which has been working fine with my previous (SMC) router.
HD Bombing Bastards Bone: Out From Boneville Book of Legends Book of Magic 2 in 1 Pack Boom Town!I have 3 routers ( Linksys wrt300n - Netgear wnr854t - D-link DIR-655 ) no SMC....I just tried to connect to them all, one at a time, with my Lenovo T60 laptop..I cant get the animation ( not in Win XP nor Win Vista - running dualboot)In the windows versions it is possible to disable the animation function..Vista just rightclick on the animation an disable XP go to settings and network connections and rightclik on your LAN connection and choose propertiesand remove the "Show icon in notificationarea when connected"Product: DIR-655 - HW Version: A2 - FW Version: 1.33NAb01Product: DAP-1522 - HW Version: A1 FW: 1.20Product: DWA-643 - HW Version: A1 - FW Version: 2.0Product: DWA-160 - HW Version: A1 - FW Version: 1.20 EProduct: DCS-1130 - HW Version: A1 - FW Version: 1.01That's good for getting rid of the symptom, but doesn't solve the cause I want to know why i get this message when using the dir-655 and not when using another router. It only happens on 1 system and only on the wired port (wireless no issue)Do you run with static IP address or DHCP on your wired LAN..... Its almost sounds like the SMC is making the connection to the PC/Laptop much faster than the D-Link....happens when u switch to a new router or use a new different SSID.id=214 I have also seen WPA - Enterprise as just WPA.You just have to find the common setting between the two devices.
